VoltaicHD for Mac and PC supports inverse telecine pulldown on 24p AVCHD video.

Most AVCHD cameras record a 24p video as a 60i signal. The VoltaicHD process recovers the true 24 frames per second progressive scan video from the 60 frames per second interlaced encoding.

24p videos are therefore deinterlaced, which simply makes them look way better.

To use this feature in VoltaicHD, select 24p Inverse Telecine in the Preferences.

All 24p modes are now auto-detected by VoltaicHD on the PC and Mac. If you have any problems with 24p pulldown on any camera, please let us know.
